Hey guys! So I made it back to the U.S. after trailing to Acapulco with AP. When I came though customs at the Houston airport, my passport was stamped "paroled until 8/25/15". So I was basically paroled for one day. Has anyone had this happened? Does this affect adjustment of status? Any similar experiences?

It's a legal entry. If you were to adjust you'd adjust normally

Hmm, I'm paroled until September 2016, just came back from Canada, not sure how they paroled you in for one day. However, it's still a legal entry. Talk to a lawyer!

On the AP note it actually says that "each period of parole should not exceed one day", it says 1 year on APs issued for AOS applicants.

I guess this is mainly to shield you in case something passes because being a parolee you're in the weird limbo since you're not in US illegally, as such - if something were to pass you could be left out.

Anyways, that's a legal entry, you can seek adjustment of status as an immediate relative of a US citizen.
