I recently sent letters to the credit bureaus asking to update my number to the one assigned to me by the social security administration office.

I sent copies of my SSN, state ID and even a copy of the ss administration letter and of course a letter of the request.

Experian did not address the request at all and instead sent me a credit report.

I have not heard from TransUnion and it's been a month.

Equifax responded with "Be advised that worker ID numbers will not be added to the credit file. This number is not issued by the Social Security administration as a social security number."

I searched online and couldn't find any answers to this, seems like everyone has been able to update their numbers without issues. The issue is basically what this person (https://reddit.com/r/personalfinance...s_ssn_to_file/) had, except of course I'm a DACA applicant.

Has anyone received this letter?

Thanks in advance for the response!

I'm on the same boat I have a credit score of 747 with my ITIN and been trying since April to transfer my credit score to my new SSN.
I did everything calling, sending letters. They asked me to send copy of SSN, government id, credit card statement, utility bills, and nothing changed
Now my new credit score is 674 and I can't transfer my old data
