illegal_aliens_murder_at_a_much_higher_rate_than_us_citizens_do.html

I found this post on /r/the_Donald.

Does anybody have time to debunk this? I quickly read it and sounds bs to me.

There is no way this is true.

Just got out of the shower. After thinking about it, this rate is incorrect. They are basing the crimes on the time of arrest, but how do we know these undocumented people committed the crimes during that period. It could of been prior years, but since they were all arrested at the same time (there have been lots of raids) it recorded all in one time period.

Can someone confirm? Articles like this just spread hate and xenophobia.

So they are comparing the ones in ICE custody. Secure communities is dead, so ICE primarily holds those busted for crimes. You get arrested, go to a trial, get convicted, and before your release ICE places a detainer on you, and you get handed from jail to ICE jail before your removal proceedings start.

Maybe he should compare them to the amount of the domestic felons, or maybe to Detroit, one of few places in US where carrying an AR-15 openly isn't exercising your 2nd amendment rights, but just common sense.
