Hello Everyone,
I have not posted here in a little while but I usually read posts on here. I am so grateful for this website because years ago before there was any DACA, this website gave me hope that there were other kids in my situation. After DACA I met my amazing husband and we recently just attended our Green Card interview where I got approved! I am so thankful to the good Lord! I will continue to support and spread word on both DACA and the Dream Act. If anyone has questions please feel free to ask. I never used any lawyers for both my DACA (original and renewal) as well as throughout my Green Card process. I am still going to check this website daily so please ask any questions that you have.

The process took 7 months in total. We applied in October and had our interview this month. I am a visa overstay. After subitting the I-130, I-485 and I-864 in October, I went for my Biometrics in December. After that we waited till April when we received an interview letter in the mail and then we went for our interview a month later. If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to ask.

How was the interviewing process? Did they ask you intense questions? Did you get approved on the spot?

They interviewed my US Citizen spouse first then I was asked to join the interview. The interviewer asked me our full names, husband's date of birth, if he has any siblings, asked me if I had ever met his family, when last I entered the US (never traveled out since I was brought here as a child). I was also asked details about our apartment, asked how I met my husband, asked whether my husband has ever met my parents and siblings, I was asked their names, I was asked if we had ever taken any trips together. The interviewer asked us to leave some pictures from our photo album and also provide any documents that shows comingling. We had bills with our names on them as well as insurance documents. We were thankfully approved on the spot.
