TRUMP: No, no, but it’s just not something that I feel very strongly about. I feel very strongly about health care. I feel very strongly about an immigration bill that I think even the people in this room can be happy. You know, you’ve been talking about immigration bills for 50 years and nothing’s ever happened.

I feel very strongly about an immigration bill that’s fair and just and a lot of other things. There are a lot of things I feel strongly about. I’m not looking to look back and go through this. This was a very painful period. This was a very painful election with all of the email things and all of the foundation things and all of the everything that they went through and the whole country went through. This was a very painful period of time. I read recently where it was, it was, they’re saying, they used to say it was Lincoln against whoever and none of us were there to see it. And there aren’t a lot of recordings of that, right?

Jesus Christ this guy is an idiot. Question being who will be in charge of writing the bill, Graham/McCain, or Sessions?

Give the guy a break. He is trying to do something for us and all you guys do is treat trump wrong. Set aside your beliefs about his other policies off this forum. This is a Dreamers forum not a foreign policy or abortion forum.

This is getting ridiculous.

He's a pathological liar, my skepticism is well founded.

Crilly's general position is fair. If his administration only focuses on deporting criminal immigrants and pressures for the ratification of an immigration reform bill that provides the noncriminal immigrants with a path to legalization, will we refuse to support the bill and the effort just because we do not trust the guy and disagree with the guy on other policy issues? Are we to wait until a more likable person is elected as president?

Bullshit aside.

I do not trust the guy either, but I am honestly liking his positive rhetoric on immigration. It's a positive step. At some point, we have to swallow our pride/egos, stop being such fucking leftist ideologues, and come to the center as pragmatists IF he ends up pressuring for relief. If he is willing to work with our community, we have to focus on the long-term. We have to be strategic. We can't refuse to work with him because he said X, Y, and Z. If we do this, we are all royally f**ked.

If he does offer a compassionate immigration bill, what do skeptics suggest we do? Do we walk away and wait 4 or maybe 8 years until another person is president? Do we call it quits and leave?

He is a prick. He won. We cannot change that. For our own well-being, get over it, move forward, and try to be strategic. All we can hope for now and try to do is get him to compromise on immigration relief, which apparently he has the willingness to do. Do not be so short-sighted, everyone.

Trump will legalize us. He's working closely with his advisors to come up with something great for us all.

Future generations will not know how to read. This is the downfall of America.

I do not know if anyone can agree, but give stupid people access to the internet has been a terrible idea.

I mean, the scariest thing is how people get their news off from twitter and how they claim that anything they do not believe is rigged.

This mofo brought us a very scary situation. Unfortunately so many people were brainwashed and I believe that it will affect generations.

This is a disaster and I do not think too many people can realize how bad this age of misinformation is and the true effect it will have in the progress of society.
