On the agenda, Schwarzman noted, was immigration. Numerous business leaders have spoken out against a recent executive order by Trump temporarily banning entry to the US by people from seven majority-Muslim countries.

Hopefully, they brought up DACA. Will post more details if anything comes out of the meeting.

Tesla's Elon Musk said in a tweet on Thursday: "In tomorrow's meeting, I and others will express our objections to the recent executive order on immigration and offer suggestions for changes to the policy."

President Donald Trump discussed trade, tax reform and immigration with some of the nation's top CEOs on Friday in the first meeting of his business council at the White House.

Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, who attended the meeting, told CNBC that Musk did talk about immigration. Welch said "there were several debates" about immigration and women's issues and "an enormous discussion" on regulation and job creation.
He added that executives were told that "clarity was coming" on the application of Trump's immigration order

My firm's CEO is on that business advisory board too and he sent out a firm-wide email promoting inclusiveness prior to that meeting. Hopefully he spoke up to Trump.

Trump's tax returns are never going to be released. Why would he release them? He's already President lol.

Well, if Obama was forced to release his birth certificate, I don't see how Trump will get away with NOT showing his tax returns...... wow. I never thought I'd live to see this odd parallel, but talk about karma.
