"More than half-dozen House and Senate Democrats so far are hosting immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and are temporarily shielded from deportation under an Obama-era program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)."

Democrats wish nothing more than to see DACA repealed so that they have something to attack republicans on.

If any of these DACAers start waving Mexican flags or start chanting Sí se puede, though... -_-

Let's not forget that we only have DACA because of activists such as Astrid.

It is disheartening to see so many people on this site attacking fellow immigrants. You might disagree with the way they go about it, and if you do then do you own activism rather than going after those speaking out.

The democrats do not want DACA repealed. There are a millions of issues democrats can attack Trump on.

Would be pretty wild if she came out to thank Trump in Spanish for staying hand on DACA. Trump will tweet positively about it, and immigration hardliners will have their heads explode. Wouldn't that be the day.

If we survive tomorrow. I think we can survive anything!

I hope the best for the president and I hope he really finds a good way to deal with this.

I disagree with the message but god I hope these people know that many lives are on the line.

I feel like it's a set up to attack him using Dreamers. I just think we're on very thin ice right now and cannot afford to attack him... we need to show gratitude and humbleness. At the end of the day he hasn't touched DACA, in the UK they are deporting a girl only 3 months away from her college graduation.. so we should definitely be thankful

Keep telling yourself that, liberals are going nuts now that Trump won, they want to provoke Trump into taking out DACA so they have more stuff to attack him with to impeach him.

Trump clearly wants congress act on DACA.

Why doesn't univision report on ALL the good stuff trump has said about DACA? All you see them reporting is the same stories on how every immigrant is going to be deported by Trump, and what is messed up is that they keep mixing us together with the criminal aliens.

"Start your own activism if you dont like it"

What? As if univision and other liberal media outlets were to allow anybody to speak in favor of Trumps actions....now THIS is disheartening.

Talking about activism, we should organize a campaign to educate the Spanish-speaking immigrant community to AVOID Univision and Telemundo at all costs. Their fear-mongering journalism is deplorable. And they profit off of that.
