The Administration wants to cut back significantly on legal immigration, and I don't think that's wise. And then the refugee program. We ought to continue to be welcoming to at least some refugees. We've taken a far smaller number than some of our allies. We obviously screen and screen well, but we ought to continue to be a welcoming nation.

We have a lot more republican support than you would imagine. Even Mitch McConnel spoke favorably of us earlier this year.

Unfortunately Jeff Flake is unpopular in Arizona. They hate him and McCain.

Plus McCain can not be trusted politically period ! Even though personally I think he's genuinely a good guy he adopted a black daughter. But in his world including her in public family portraits is a big no no . He also divorced his first wife when she was diagnosed with cancer to marry a wealthy woman.

I guess you can do shitty things and still be a good person like voting no every time the dream act is up for passage .

Yea I don't trust him either. I'll wait until he produces results to begin trusting him. Otherwise it is all a big plot to gain political points.

He adopted a girl from Bangladesh not Africa.
