In exchange for giving permanent legal status to millions, and thus encouraging more illegal immigration, the GOP will get … a vague promise of ‘border security.’

Do you think they can extend the 10-year ban....maybe make it a 20 year ban?

That would be AWFUL

So are you worried about your current situation, Or the situations immigrants in the future would face ?
Because as much as I care for my people I don't think it would hurt to compromise on tightening border security and getting a little more strict in exchange for the Dream act solution .

As longas they don't ask for e-verify, i think it will be passed. Trump wants to look good, the Republicas atr looking bad, so they have to do something, and Democrats have to get a little stricter if they want that 2020 win.

If anti-immigrants have any sense, they would get rid of or shorten the 10-year ban. It directly contributed to the ballooning of the undocumented population in this country. Due to the ban, many people stayed and brought their families here instead of going back home. Why anyone would think extending that ban even further is a good idea is beyond me.

Most company already require e-verify so why not just let them have it?

Couldn't agree with you more!

I was just throwing that idea out there....in case any of us decide to leave. I'm just worried...and overthinking everything!

March 2018 couldn't come sooner...

Of course. My comment was a criticism of anti-immigrants who support the 10-year ban.

BEWARE
Keep in mind that NationalReview is not a trusted source, and the owner is the likes or the same as the owner of FAIR Hate group, I would not take this article into consideration, it only aims to stir things up and galvanize the anti-immigrant crowd.
