Several states, organizations and individuals have filed lawsuits seeking to protect DACA recipients known as Dreamers.

At a hearing in San Francisco federal court, U.S. District Judge William Alsup grouped four of those cases together, including a lawsuit filed by California’s attorney general and six individual Dreamers. Legal briefs for many of the issues could be finished by December, he said.

“I don’t like the idea that we’re fiddling while Rome burns and then suddenly the program is expired,” Alsup said.

The legal claims in all of the cases are similar: That the Trump administration did not follow proper administrative procedure in rescinding DACA, and that making enforcement promises to a group of people, only to revoke them, violates due process.

Realistically what would be the outcome? I'm thinking that the Trump administration would just need to "follow proper procedure" and DACA would still be rescinded?

Basically, but after the last stunt blew up in his face after Gollum told him that it'll be totally legit, I feel that Trump might just look the other way and pretend that never happened.

What's coming up next? I know the WH is supposed to release what they want to see in a DACA bill. Anything else we're waiting for?

I honestly hope and think that If the dream act is passed with us getting residency being worried about our EAD won't help because we wouldn't need them anymore . So I'm hoping they start unveiling plans soon because this waiting game is ridiculous....

Next week the plans will start rolling out from Trump Admin and from Ryan's Group.

Relax this week, my people.

Who the fuck knows anymore, Ryan's little group of gremlins will draft something unacceptable that'll get voted down and come September there's going to be a lot of DA Amendment votes going on. Easier to strong-arm stuff when the government is on the verge of a shutdown.
