White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced Thursday that President Trump will roll out his priorities for immigration reform by next Wednesday.
"The president will be laying out his responsible immigration plan over the next week," Sanders told reporters during the briefing.

On Thursday, the Washington Post reported that the White House is expected to demand a reduction in legal immigration in return for a bill to help current DACA recipients. White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller is writing a proposal that includes those provisions from the Raise Act.

This is good, in the sense that we will have an idea - more or less, on what the administration wants. This will at least be an official starting point and hoping things move in the right direction from here on.

Could be good, or it could kill any momentum we have by requesting absurd ideas that Democrats will reject immediately.
