New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman (D) says in an interview airing Sunday that he's hopeful President Trump will make a deal with Democrats to protect Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) recipients, but threatened to sue the White House if that doesn't happen.

In an interview with AM970 The Answer, the New York Democrat pointed to President Trump's meeting with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) as a sign of progress on the issue.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
I called Chuck Schumer yesterday to see if the Dems want to do a great HealthCare Bill. ObamaCare is badly broken, big premiums. Who knows!

Fix it and call it Trumpcare. Attach DA with enhancements to it. 2 year CGC, 3 years(grandfathered better) to become USC.

In five years we will qualify for great health care.

As simple as that.

Yes and then he came to his senses and realizes Dream Act + Border Security is the way to go and that Trump is the one who is going to get this passed. Just because you're getting a Green Card doesn't mean we shouldn't fight for ours.

I’m glad you see it this way now.

I do believe there will be a compromise. Right now my biggest fear is those demanding a ‘clean’ Dream Act or those with the idiotic ‘all of us or none of us’ mindset.
