He is looking for exceptional DREAM Act students from diverse backgrounds and states, especially the states hardest hit - North Carolina, Virginia etc. He wanted to know more about undocumented students I knew -- how are they getting by in school? what happens to them after they graduate from college? are any of them going back to their home countries? etc.

I think that's the key, to exemplify the best of us. The ones that are undeniably talented yet burdend with our status.

^May I also advise that if someone is sending in a story, it should be written *well, with excellent grammar and composition. The last thing we need is a published internet excerpt of a Dreamie that speaks at an 8th grade level.

Another idea would be to get some of the best stories from DAP members that were submitted to Hrvatica last year (that is, if she can find free time to sort through them again ) and send some out on behalf of DAP as a whole.

ooooh Whats the name of that girl? The one that was doing engineering and had carcer half way through her college career. I think she was Polish and from Illinois.
*sorry, can't remember her screeen name...* But she had a GREAT story about overcoming extreme challenges.
