President Donald Trump is pressuring Republicans to obtain at least $5 billion for his border wall, far more than what Senate Democrats are prepared to give. Democrats in turn are considering pushes for legislation to protect special counsel Robert Mueller and the elimination of a citizenship question from the next census, according to people familiar with the negotiations.

The negotiations they are speaking of right now are in the senate during the lame duck congress session. Democrats don’t control the House til January after this spending bill needs to be crafted.

First off, the new Congress doesn't take over until January 3rd. This is still a Republican congress.
2nd, even if we don't get anything good, it also means that we won't get anything bad.

Absolutely sickening!

Dems are doing this because they know Trump will accept Dream Act for Wall deal.

This is all such bullshit.

Imagine the Dems giving Trump $5 billion on border security without anything on DACA. Pelosi and Schumer fucking caras de mis huevos en pickle juice.
