I've attached a screenshot of the Build Back Better bill where it talks about federal student loan eligibility and how the new bill amends text in the Higher Education Act of 1965. I have also attached a portion of the old 1965 education bill that is being amended by the Build Back Better bill.

Reading through the text, it seems to indicate that both DACA and TPS recipients would be eligible for federal student loans, which would be huge for me going to PA school in the state of Indiana. Is this truly what the text is proposing?

This would help so many of us! Can anyone confirm that this is what this means?

u know what helps younger DACA people more than Federal Student Loans?

the eligibility for them to apply for Federal Jobs (which they're not allowed to since one must be USC to apply for Federal Jobs)

stop throwing free $ at them and just give them the same eligibility to apply for federal jobs like everyone else fucking idiots

She only cares about herself. Remember that one time she took DACA renewal aid for people that were supposed to be experiencing hardship and couldn't afford their renewal fee? Embarrassing on so many levels.

This seems like it would apply to all loans, grants and work study, even for grad school right? I’m applying to med school so this could open up a lot of options.
