I've been pretty passive ever since i joined this forum (though I've only been here a little over a month now). I don't really know how i could help though. Right now I'm trying to figure out where i can meet this club at my college called "La Raza." a couple of google searches leads me to believe that they are advocates of DREAM, though im not quite sure.

Also, I think GERONIMO610 is the closest to me (you live at berkeley right, if i rememeber some of your post correctly). You think you could PM about anything DREAM related that's going on in the bay area that i could participate in? I have no DREAM organization to support right now aside from this forum and getting people to vote on change.org

I'm a pretty active individual (was the president for my class in high school), i just dont know where to start when it comes to advocating dream outside of the internet.

Lastly, I havent added myself to the mailing list and i really want to make an official blog introdution about my situation. Could someone point me in the right direction to the mailing list, and also a good place to blog where my story wont fade away like threads used for letting off steam, but are actually used to persuade opponents or uplift fellow dreamers.

One more thing: I've been reading some ant-immigrant blogs and web pages like ALIPAC and they KNOW ITS ON. They're comments suggest that 2009 will be "the biggest battle against illegal immigration and amnesty." Come on guys, let's get ready, cus i hear battle drums in the distance.

LOL i saw my name and I thought someone was calling me out. I was like "What?" I live in San Jose. I think Citizen hope is near us, he's active I believe with some organization in San Jose state university. I actually don't know any organization nearby. But when things really pick up next year I was planning to meet up with organization or clubs. I think they have one in San Jose State university... Where are you located?

I stay out in the East Bay. The Pittsburg area, if you don't know where that's at, it's sorta near concord/walnut creek.

I also know several organizations here I can hook you up with. In fact, we have a X-mas dinner soon in Oakland... Oh yeah, anyone in the Bay Area who can make it on 27th, just drop me an email with your DAP username and we will talk

there's a group called SAHE (Student Advocates for Higher Education) at SJSU, also Debug Magazine in SJ is active in aspects of the immigrant community.
