It's unfortunate you don't speak the language where you are from.If you were interested in returning via an F1 visa route I would have suggested the Military MAVNI program.I believe Arabic from Morocco is one of the languages they're looking for.

Sorry...People have asked me why I didn't just go back home if I've been here 27 years without getting a green card and I always tell them that I didn't have anywhere to go to and I never knew what was around the corner. For all you knew, you could have stayed here another 15 years without any changes in the laws.

Still, don't worry about what is done. At least Morocco is a fairly liberal country, it's beautiful, and knowing English, you can travel to Europe and back here through work if things work out.
