LexisNexis
Has anyone else had problems with their background checks?
I was going to get hired, I went through 3 damn interviews, and the background check didn't clear with LN & I was not hired :( & that's because I have a clean record. |
Re: LexisNexis
Did they let you know they were going to hire you or you just assume?

Re: LexisNexis

I think something similar happened to me not quite sure. So they decided to just not hire you then? This sucks. Someone else did have problems they created a thread about it I will try and find it. Here it is it also involved Lexis Nexis: http://dreamact.info/forum/showthread.php?t=33126 |
Re: LexisNexis
Oh yes I read it. They supposably did send in my faxed documents, but who knows... Sucks because I quit my other job. Now back to being unemployed...

I guess if we want to be hired soon we need to look for places that don't use Lexis Nexis? :???: |
Re: LexisNexis
I guess so... but it's like how the heck are we suppose to know! I just feel so upset :( they wasted so much time... over a month and a half. My 2nd interview was in a town 40 mins away :/ ughhh. So disappointed.

Re: LexisNexis
Yeah I'm in the same boat as you D: I'm having problems with LN they couldn't validate my SSN. So I called Joann and told them about the problem and they just asked for a verification letter. Now I just have to wait and see what happens :O

Re: LexisNexis
Sorry to hear about your trouble. :-(
The same thing happened to me. I applied for work with Target. Target uses LexisNexis and it bounced back as no record and invalid ssn. I received a letter from Target corporate saying that I needed to contact LexisNexis within five days or lose the job offer. I called LexisNexis and opened a case with them. They asked me to email my license, ead, and ssn card and they would fix it. I believe I received an email telling me that the issue had been resolved. A few days letter I received a letter from LexisNexis saying that the issue had been resolved. If a company uses LexisNexis then be prepared to contact them. I think it is because our 'file' is still new and contains hardly any history. At least mine did. |
