Has anyone else had problems with their background checks?
I was going to get hired, I went through 3 damn interviews, and the background check didn't clear with LN & I was not hired & that's because I have a clean record.

Did they let you know they were going to hire you or you just assume?

The main manager told me I was pretty much hired just had to wait for the bc.

I think something similar happened to me not quite sure. So they decided to just not hire you then? This sucks. Someone else did have problems they created a thread about it I will try and find it.

Oh yes I read it. They supposably did send in my faxed documents, but who knows... Sucks because I quit my other job. Now back to being unemployed...

I guess if we want to be hired soon we need to look for places that don't use Lexis Nexis?

I guess so... but it's like how the heck are we suppose to know! I just feel so upset they wasted so much time... over a month and a half. My 2nd interview was in a town 40 mins away :/ ughhh. So disappointed.

Exactly! Now some places do let you know but that doesn't mean every single place will. That really does suck I wish you the best of luck in finding a new job. I wish they would reconsider or at least allow you to try and fix it.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you D: I'm having problems with LN they couldn't validate my SSN. So I called Joann and told them about the problem and they just asked for a verification letter. Now I just have to wait and see what happens :O
