1. When I applied I checked "Non resident." 2. I got in the school as a "Non Resident." 3. I printed out the AB540 form, filled it out and got my high school transcript and turned it in to the admin office. The only trouble I had was when I tried to pay for my fees online it was like $10,000!! But I just called them and I told them I have the AB540 waiver and they changed it ASAP. I'm sure it's the same for grad school. |
Well, I was thinking either a MS in organic chemistry or a MBA. I have a job offer at a chemistry firm but it seems so iffy that I'm just contemplating on going back to school if they are not going to actually let me start. If I do get to work then I would like to work on a MBA, but ultimately, my goal is to become a doctor. I actually do have a social security and I am planning on applying to the Cal State's since they are cheaper in tuition I believe and less strigent requirements. So I'm guessing it does apply for grads at the cal states right? Thanks guys.

Also, one more question....If we qualify for in-state tuition...do we have to show an affidavit showing that we can afford the program because international students have to show a bank statement showing that they can fund the program. Is anyone in graduate school right now under the AB 540? Thanks again guys.
