Quick question folks.

For those of you who've received your EAD card, is the date it becomes effective the same as your approval date? The reason I ask is simple. My EAD was approved 2 days ago...

Just a heads up.

If you used a different license with your picture to drive and you reapply for a new one under your real name with DACA they will catch you through their facial recognition...

You don't need the card to apply for a job. Get the number from the office and you'll have about a week's head start.

When you receive the EAD you request the social. Wait 2 days or so and go back to the ssn office and tell them you really need the social security number to apply for school, or for a job...

It's going well man. I earned my license last week and its been smooth sailing so far. Anything else will sound like bragging and I hated when people did that lol. Hopefully you get approved before...

This may be helpful to some people. 2-3 days after you've applied for your social, you can go back in and tell them you need the number quickly for a job application or college and they will write it...

I actually feel bad about being approved before other 11 monthers. Pretty pathetic considering I waited about 11 months as well. It'll come soon everyone.
