This happened to me as well, but I think it's mistake or glitch on behalf of USCIS. I don't think it's true because I checked on myUSCIS app and it said my case was terminated however, two days later...

Yeah, first I got a text to my phone and the it was updated on my USCIS profolio, actually it took longer than I thought to update on the website so I am glad that I signed up for text updates!...

While on the process, I found this very helpful post that lists the whole process from the beginning to the end...although each case varies in time, it still showed me what I expected...
