My record is clean. My sister and I both did everything at the same time. And she got her card 2nd week of April. I think it was just luck of the draw.i did get a response to my 1st inquiry 2 days...

You can do a walk-in in most places I believe. As long as you already have the letter and they're not too busy, they should take you in.

Oh man, I'm at 76 days and losing my mind waiting for my renewal. I don't think I could make it 100 extra days.

Sound to me like he is eligible. You'd likely need yo provide all the documentation regarding what you just described. Asking an immigration attorney also wouldn't hurt.

Would it be a waste of time trying any of the things to speed up my case if I sent my app late? My first renewal process took less than 30 days from when I sent my app to me having my EAD in hand. So...
