oops, sorry, I had a typo, I got approved online for deferred action on oct.3rd, which was the same day I received my EAD, I got official deferred action paper on oct.5th. Sorry about the typo, so...

I tried a walk in on the north side, over by Broadway since I live right by there in the Andersonville neighborhood (btw my neighborhood is awesome), they turned me away but it was only a couple days...

I got approved oct.5th and got my EAD card that same day. Yesterday I went and applied for my SSN, I was in the system, it had only been 4 days, not 10.

Is having debt a problem?

was wondering if anyone knew if having debt would hurt one's chances with these new changes. I have some debts in collection that I can't afford to pay off right now.

I have read that Barney Frank has stated that we do indeed have the votes for the DREAM Act. I overheard him on CNN saying that too. He's a very frank (no pun intended) guy. Anyone got any more on...

how do you check your status with the SSS if you don't have a social? I remember sending in the post card when I was 18 (Im now 26) ...I never heard back from the SSS people though...

I raked up an $18,000 hospital bill that is now in collection. There's absolutely no way I can pay it. Does anyone here know if that could count against me qualifying for the dream act, as bad 'moral...
