That did not stop me, I was able to apply as a AB-540 student and paid for my college tuition as a resident. I recently graduated from SMC with a A.A degree, it took me a while because of payment issues but I was able to do it. This fall I start at a CSU and I more than happy that I got accepted. I really hope the Dream Act passes because it will give me and thousands of other hopes of becoming what they want to be!
