Actually it’s changed to 5 years but it’s a huge relief to have permanent status. Canada is COLD haha but really not that different from the US. There’s a couple other DACA folks here with me as well. We’re planning to do detailed posts to share our individual experiences. All in all we’re extremely grateful to be here.

US will always be home and I do get homesick from time to time but it’s a relief to be done with Daca.

I still follow the news - keeping my fingers crossed for some sort of relief for you guys.
