At least, it looks like they are genuinely trying to convince her. She did rule against them on the $15 minimum wage provision earlier this year as mentioned in the article, but some Democrats were not in favor of that and wanted to avoid that issue. There was no consensus. So, she actually did the Democrats a favor and give them an excuse to skirt around that politically. This time, at least when it comes to DACA, the urgency is greater. And, they won't get any political benefit by punting it further or won't likely suffer significant negative political consequences for such a provision (because it will be relatively narrow to DACA and some other immigrants). Most, if not all, Democrats are in agreement for giving legal status to DACA recipients. So, there is a little bit of hope for that.

Still, odds are highly against us... It is sad that this one individual can possibly make a decision for and against our future.
good, keep making excuses for dems remaining a bunch of spineless pussies. That will get us somewhere.
