That basically describes me I gave up on school and due to my ignorance and pessimism led me to believe i couldn't get accepted to college or ever get my status adjusted. It was already too late for me, towards the end of my Junior year of High School i found out about the Dream Act (2005) and that many people in my situation were attending college . Those events led me to change my approach towards school i ended up taking night classes and going to summer school so i could at least graduate with a High School Diploma and hopefully qualify for the Dream Act. and to this day i regret how badly i screwed up, and now i will start community college this fall hopefully by then the Dream Act will be law.

After high school the same thing happened to me, I kind of gave up for about three years until last summer when I registered in my community college. Passing this legislation will prevent this from happening to current graduating high school undocumented students.
