Not a single Dem voted for the BBB, which gave billions to ICE.

Yeah, it's crazy. I understand they got a bigger budget than the military's. Things will get a lot worse.

I hope they don't fold again on the upcoming budget bill. President gets blamed for everything regardless of polling. In 2013 with the shutdown republicans got blamed for the shutdown, the voters still gave them the senate in 2014.

Democrats on appropriations just agreed to a $403,000,000 increase in DHS budget and detention beds and $0 for PBS/NPR.

They also added $900,000,000 million more to the already bloated defense budget. Unbelieveable. I as well as my family (who are ALL citizens) are going to call Murray's office today.

Edit: Updated to reflect that Senator Murphy has publicly stated that he was misled on the bill and is a "no" vote.

Dems are pathetic and lack leadership within Congress. Chuck Schumer should be tied down in front of the capital and have rotten eggs and tomatoes thrown at him and then Diaper Don can finish him off by blowing a huge greasy orange fart in his face.

“All the immigration sweeps will maintain strong support if they are going after criminals,” Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-Louisiana, told WVUE-TV Fox 8 this week. “I think if they focus on criminals, they are going to have a lot of support. And if they go beyond that, I think people will scratch their head and say, ‘Why are we doing this?’”

Well, there is not support for immigration sweeps because the American public does not want people, workers, and families who have created peaceful and productive lives for themselves to be abducted and expelled.

If you live in NYC, there is a rumor going around that ICE will be doing a raid tomorrow Thursday January 22nd in Flushing, Queens. Be safe, everyone.
