I guess this would be the cliché

Hello, My name is Alex. I didn't know where to begin but here's a good place to start I suppose. I was brought here when I was two years old, illegally across the border. For most of my childhood the fact that I was undocumented wasn't a big deal. Only after high school was over, did the weight of the this whole mess fall down on me. For a little bit I was extremely depressed, but now I know that one day I will be a citizen of the USA, after all that's what I feel like I am. It's kind of silly but I've set a goal in my head that in 2012 I will be documented no matter what (got that from "The Secret" watch it, its interesting even if you don't believe it). Since this is the DREAM portal, I thought maybe I'd share my dream, which is to write a best seller. I Know that CIRASAP will pass, and all of us will be granted an opportunity, which is really all we're asking for.

Welcome to DAP. Sorry no one has responded to your message yet--I think a lot of them are either taking finals or recovering from finals! I've just been involved since September and have met quite a few really nice people here. You've set a couple of high goals for yourself already, which is great. Good luck with both of them, Alex. You should meet Yurchie from Russia. He's into writing also, fiction mostly. You may have some other things in common with him. Anyway, welcome and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
