Hi everyone
This is the time when we should be working our hardest...And to keep up doing good work we have to keep a positive attitude.
It's 2009 and we all have made it here, in this wonderful country. We have made it, we have acquired experience, we have endured so much that we are now stronger than before. Because of that, I want to congratulate you!!!!! You all make me so proud! really, once I was tormented with the ideology that our people were too poor, weak, and stupid, to do anything. But now I know it is not.
Whatever happens, if the Dream ACT passes or not (which I hope it does!!!), keep your head up. If it passes, we should be thankful and take advantage of our right, and I bet it will be so fun. If it does not...well, things won't end up there. The happiness of our lives should not depend on what we can't exactly control. We should keep going, and say "what the heck...I'ma be happy" and make the most out of our lives. Don't just wish to be on the greener grass from the other side...but grow it right where you are, and OWN IT.
Whatever your situation might be right now, don't worry IT WILL CHANGE...for the better, or for the best (just remember to keep it positive). But it won't be for the worst (Just because it doesn't glitter, doesn't mean it is not valuable as gold) So yeah, make yourself a promise that from this moment on you will enjoy your life like it should be. I hope the best happens, and I doubtfully think that our DREAMS will not pass.

I wanted a positivity thread! I love your energy and spirit! We need more of this attitude toward our lives and our efforts to make a life for ourselves.

Lets keep the momentum rolling in the right direction! Keep calling, making postcards, and everything else with a smile. We are good people, we will see the sunny light at the end of all this and be better for it

A positive attitude is going to bring us unity, and a positive outcome
