Senator Stevens is getting bombarded by anti-immigration calls. I started saying, "Hi, I'd like the Senator to.." and the staffer says, "You want him to vote no on the immigration bill right?." So I say, "No, I want him to vote YES." And she responds, "You want him to vote Yes?" She was very puzzled as to why someone would want the Senator to vote yes.

Very odd call, I've never encountered that before. It seems like they are getting to Stevens. Please call his ass now!

Btw, for those who call, please let me know if the mood has changed a bit at their office.

You're damn right Frank. We need some accountability on this board. I understand that people have work and school and whatnot, but we all need to be calling. No excuses!

just called Sen. Stevens it was a dude that answered my call , I couldn't tell anything from the tune. but he did repeat what i said, he was like " so you want the sen. to vote yes on the immigration bill ?" i said yes. he did seem little suppressed hheh...

yea, you probably should waited couple mins later after I called, otherwise he would think that we came from the same group or some shit, but whatever.

Can you call a senator more then once? If so, how long should you wait before calling again?

Eh, I'm sure they got some calls in between. Either way, if it's from a group it won't really matter. I'm sure they get whole organizations calling at a time.
