I'm new to this forum so I don't know if this question has been asked already... but...
is it possible to receive the benefits of the Dream Act if you already applied for a greencard but just haven't received it yet? also.. under the Dream Act, will it allow one to get their driver's permit and license?
if you're already in process you're probably better off than going via the dream act. you would only get a conditional residency for the first 6 yrs. Yes most states require you to have just a status of some sort its not only issued to a US citizen.
