I don't know if this is posted already but he claims he opposes it as a stand alone bill this is why i think Dream will be better attached to CIR

It's sad. She didn't have a position a few weeks ago. I guess the opposition got to her.

Wretch!
Attach to CIR? No way! DA must remain as a standalone bill and must pass before CIR. The reasons are simple: 1) it's only for the students and educated young adults, 2) CIR can take a longer time to discuss, to match the versions in senate and house if it happens again 3) DA is more popular than CIR to the Republican over the CIR.

DA has never been a stand alone bill in history. Looks like it will be attached to CIR.

The discussion was suppose to take place in May.

I beleive the voting will be done in Sep/Oct?

#1. She's a democrat

#2. DREAM was a stand alone in 2007.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DREAM_Act

please read it
The core part of DA has been around since 2001. But only until 2007 DA came to the Congress with the name DREAM.
