Dear Friends,
I Have frequented this website many times before and read all the stories that have been here before. It has all been a great inspiration to me. Now I think It's time i share my story.

I was brought to the U.S. When I was only a year old from Mexico. My parents were chasing the same dream ever other parent has chased. So to say the least I was brought up here in California in the Los Angeles area where this kind of story is common.

I Learned about my status very early on but like with most people it really didnt affect me until I left high school. Now I'm 20 and going to community College. I have found my passion in the perfoming arts and wish to seek a profession in that. I work and go to school while doing plays and movies when I can. Now I'm just about to get my AA in Fine and Performing arts and I feel stuck.

Like everone here I'm a dreamer and lets hope this act passes giving us all a good and certain future.

Thank you

Hi Ozz,
Thanks for sharing your story and welcome to the forum! There is definitely strength to be gained when we understand one another's story. I'm from East L.A. Welcome, neighbor!
