Well I live in Texas, but I was born in Mexico. Ive been here all my life. Ive lived my life like any other child. I always knew i was an illegal immigrant but i never knew the severity of it until recently. Im a Junior in highschool and im stuck. I didnt know I cant sign up for the ACT's or SAT's without a social security. I want to go to college. I always have. I also want to join the reserves. The problem is I dont know how. I figured maybe someone here could help me. At my school my counselors say they dont know how to help me. I figured that if I found people in my situation I would find better help. Someone please help me.

don't feel like that... just cheer up.
here in texas you Can go to college and you can even get some financial help. if you counselor cant help you then it must not me a good counselor. for the ACT and Sat you just leave the SS# blank and there should be no problem..
there are a few people here from Texas and we are in college. all you need to do is find a way and Never take NO for an answer..

You can take the SAT without a SS my friend. I took PSAT and SAT Even military exams without a SS.
I also live in Texas depending what area you live in you may have a easy time finding a job. I know how you feel I just recently found out I was "Illegal" due to an overstay but how did I know? I did not know I did anything wrong.
