It seems as though every time an immigration talks arises, it has to be postponed for whatever reasons.

Quote:
A meeting between President Barack Obama and Sens. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) scheduled for Monday afternoon on immigration reform has been postponed and will be rescheduled later this week, thanks to flight cancellations in South Carolina.

“Senator Graham’s meeting with President Obama and Senator Schumer to discuss immigration reform has been postponed,” Graham’s communications director Kevin Bishop said in a statement. “Senator Graham was scheduled to fly to Washington this afternoon but his US Air flight from South Carolina was cancelled. The meeting will be rescheduled.”

Schumer and Graham have been working for months on a bipartisan outline for immigration reform. The two have searched for an additional Republican co-sponsor but have yet to bring one aboard. Immigration reform advocates are pushing for Schumer and Graham to introduce legislation before a March 21 rally on the issue on the National Mall, but Congressional aides say the road map has yet to be determined.

You can't blame Obama for flight cancellations, can you?

Although, some of you still might!

Let me see, where have I heard this story before?...Oh yeah, last year! The Univision evening *national* newscast (PST) just showed that woman that used to be part of NCLR and who now works for President Obama, Cecilia Munoz and the reporter discussing a meeting later this week with *IMMIGRATION ACTIVISTS*. What, all of the sudden the supposed immigration bill that Schumer and Graham have been working on for the past 8 months isn't there? And they are not part of this meeting? Activists were never invited to today's meeting as far as I know, so I hope they don't take the bait and ease the pressure and accountability in exchange for a "promise" of reform. Sometime. When they can get to it.
It isn't a coincidence that this is happening now just 2 weeks away from the March 21st march. It is total bullshit and we can all see it. I sent just about a duplicate of this message to the White House including my own email address. The squeaky wheel gets the grease; I don't care about mincing words any more.

There is, however, an immigration news conference on C-SPAN today.
