Hi everyone...I got a question . Well this doesn't really relate to the dream act but it's a question that would make my mom happy. She hasn't seen her mom in 20 years and it really annoys me!!!
Is there any way to get her mom to come to this country on a visa or something? maybe just for a while...doesn't have to be permanent.

Some info: my mom is illegal but her two brothers who are here are legal. my whole family has a clean record. not much else to say.
please help me if you have any idea , I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks again you guys/gals....you'd be putting a huge smile on my mom's face

Anything is possible with money. Haha. My mom and uncles/aunts saved up for a bit to [legally] bring my grandfather [late 70's at the time] to the states after about 20years Of not seeing him. He was here for about a month and flew back out. I guess it would depend on the country you're from, but having money will help you guys out.

I would gladly pay the money to see him again. Aside from the absolute joy that it brought my mother, It did wonders for me personally. To be able to hear about my family from him. The stories my parents couldnt tell. And the answers that they didn't know. I would talk to him for forever. Poor gramps. I'd keep him up late night haha. He's the only grandparent that I have ever met. Besides him, only my grandmother [on my father's side] is alive, but too ill to travel. .And I've always felt so blessed that he was here to see me move from jr high to high school.

I really hope it works out fd. Not just for your mom, but for you too.

Yea. A visitor's visa. Thats how both of my aunts were able to visit us. They will be staying for 3 months before heading back to Brazil. Granps will not have a problem getting a visitor's visa, I think, since he is old. Good luck

How much did it cost exactly? My parents haven't seen my grandparents for more than 10 years and like all of you in this thread, it would make my parents and I extremely happy.
