Can I join the Marines?

Is it possible for an illegal to join the marines ? I was wondering because last year i called the National Guards and they said i wasn't able to join due to my status, but one of my dads friends was telling him one of his friends son was able to join and soon will be getting residency soon. I'm not only interested of joining due to getting legal status, but since i love to work out, and would love to travel the world I think it would be a great opportunity.

example: girl = me. Went to the national guard when i was 17 to sign up not knowing my status... Ooooh i made a fool out of myself when they asked me for a GC or if i was a USC. i was clueless.. that shit broke my heart. here i am wanting to serve this country but they won't hire my ass because i don't have a piece of paper..

this was my only option, guess i will be heading back home soon. I'll be back though with a tourist Visa just to visit my sister was born here she might be able too fix me papers but it will take over 10 years
