Hi guys. Recently my parents made a joke about how poor we are and that they are not having kids anymore, lol. You had to be there i guess to understand it. Anyway, it got me thinking, that because of ME they are in this situation. I was born when they were 17 and 16 years of age. They wanted to come here to give me "a better life", otherwise they might have stayed there, who knows. I know it wasn't my choice to come into this world, but I feel like now, at the age of 22, I can really help them.
The problem is, i don't have any ss number, id, friends to help me. It is so limited on what I can do for them right now. I feel like I am freeloading off them. I wish I can help them out in paying bills, advice, etc. They are also paying for my college and I just attend and not work. So this is my idea. If the dream act doesn't pass by next year I will go back to my country alone. I will try and make it back there and not be in their way. I want to send them money from ecuador, ironically enough, and at least help them be happier. what do you guys think? or do you have any other ideas?

I'm no one to judge you or your family but they had you that young? don't you ever and I mean ever blame yourself. If you are on this situation it's because of them.

God Bless

It's noble to want to help your family. Have you ever thought through how you would do that in Ecuador? I hope to go there within the next year, but I realize that their GDP per capita is only above Bolivia and Paraguay. On the other hand, there are some hot ladies down there so just think it through first!

You are from Ecuador? hello fellow South American!

Guess what? I'm from Bolivia so guess how I feel

I guess I could say to keep holding on maybe for at least another year. I really know how you feel.

It's not about making your parents happy, but YOU. Are YOU gonna be happy if you go back to Ecuador?
