Cap-Haitien, Haiti (CNN) -- An American who set up a school for homeless street boys in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, could face nearly 20 years in prison after he admitted sexually abusing some of the same children he sheltered, clothed and educated.

Douglas Perlitz, 40, will be sentenced Tuesday in New Haven, Connecticut.

In September 2009, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested Perlitz. He denied all accusations, but in August Perlitz pleaded guilty to one count of traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct. He also admitted to engaging in sexual conduct with eight minors.
Kind of revolting that I was basically raised here, don't have any addictions, no criminal background, nothing but good intentions, yet I still can't get a chance to earning adjustment of status; while people like him are considered to be more American than me just because he was born here but is completely rotten inside. Some fucking ambassador.

Well, he is going to get a sentence despite the fact that he is an American.
You can't expect them to revoke his citizenship. All countries have criminals of their own, but they can't just revoke their citizenship.

Not saying he's getting off the hook, and that they should revoke his citizenship. I'm saying that this asshole is considered more American than me, just because I don't have the paperwork. Is it more American to be born here and legally go to a foreign country to rape boys, or to follow the law of the land and in case I'm overseas that I conduct myself properly as if I'm representing my country?

I speak the same language as he does. I probably know was much American geography, social studies as he does. I don't rape boys.

Lol, make sure you don't rape the girls too. Just kidding with you.

Yes, I understand your point but in people's eyes we don't deserve to be citizens no matter how "good" we are. They say how can we be good citizens if our very own presence here is illegal. They just don't understand that we weren't the one to make the decision of coming to the US. Apparently, being here illegally is equivalent to being a rapist or a murderer.

Well as far as the GOP and those five terrible Democrats are concerned, he deserves more rights than you. Whether or not he rapes boys.
