> Since Im underage, I needed to take drivers ed classes for a period of 15 lessons. If you dont plan on being here for a long period of time and your underage, it would be better to come when your 18.
>Some DMV folks are mean! lol This time that I went, I didn get rejected. All I needed was my drivers permit, a proof of residence and parents ID. I have went a couple of times before and they kept on asking for different things, for ex. dads matriculas, birth certificate ex.. It depends on the DMV person, IMO since some would suspect you not to be legal and put more barriors on your way.
>If you dont have a valid social security, then it will take a additional 60 days to verify the proof of residence you brought. The guy photocopied the proof of residence and they will check it to be valid some how. lol
>The waitlist to take a drivers test is long, a month for mine to be exact. Hypothecically speaking, It will take you around 3 months just to obtain a drivers licence in WA, but its worth it.
My suggestion is hurry up, lately there has been rumors that WA will stop giving licences to illegals soon. You dont wanna be caught half way and accomplish nothing....
