The debate will be difficult and take time, but I strongly believe that we should take on, once and for all, the issue of illegal immigration.

It won't be this yr. But get ourselves prepared for '12. Don't tell your friends/family to vote Obama. There will be other candidates who support DA from both parties. Any one of them will be better than Obama.

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If Obama couldn't accomplish DA in his first two years, what makes you think anyone else would? Clearly it is the effin politicians in the house and senate who are the problem.

Try not to be negative. We really have to put a lot of faith in Obama and his administration. He's the only person, the best person we can turn to at the moment. The man has a lot on his plate to worry about. We need to take this battle in stride, just like health care. Be patient and we will prevail. Then we can rub it in these people's evil faces that they lost and immigration reform has succeeded.

I think anybody is better than Obama. Just compare Obama with Bush. Obama did absolutely NOTHING for immigration reform while democrats were in control of house, senate and white house. ALL THREE OF THEM.

Part of the problem may be the issue w/ the birthers (Obama's birth certificate) that don't believe he was even born in Hawaii and say he was born in Indonesia. There is an undercurrent by some in this country who believe that he's an illegal who is running the country. And this issue is based about illegal aliens/immigration reform, so it really does hit him personally.

Let's just put it this way. Bush tried more than Obama in terms of pushing for CIR. That tells you right away how much Obama tried.

Obama is great public speaker and inspires/makes us believe that he will really do something to "change" as he always say. He had 2 yrs to do it. There were talks about immigration reform in every newspaper only to find out today that absolutely nothing has done. Not a damn thing. I know it's hard to accept it but learn from our mistake and move on.

We now know what Obama is about. He's all about sitting at his desk, waiting for DA to come to him so he can sign it. Obama is not any more than that. So whether it's a dem or rep give another candidate a chance if they sound serious about pushing DA/CIR.

Vote Obama = another 4 yrs of waiting at his desk.
Vote other candidate = even if this candidate wins and doesn't push for DA, at least we know that he's just as gd as Obama in terms of waiting at his desk but there's always a chance that this candidate might actually do something like Bush.

We have better chance of passing DA giving another candidate a chance.

A candidate with some ball might pass amnesty. My thought? Not Obama.
He will wait until the bill come to his desk, which it will most likely not going to happen.

I couldn't agree more.
When we look back at Bush presidency, we had a big ralley with full support of the President. Look at Obama right now. Only thing he will ever say is he is going to keep work with Republicans, which he never does. Republicans are all pumped up to get Obama out of the office. Is this the result of Obama working with Republicans?
