Personally, I'm not sure if this is a fair trade-off.

Any thoughts??

I'm not sure about it either. When it becomes mandatory, how will people not covered by the DREAM Act, who happen to be many of our own parents and older DREAMers, be able to work? Not to mention the fact that mandatory E-verify would practically cripple the agriculture industry, which relies heavily on undocumented workers.

Here in Georgia, there have been hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs posted by farmers who need workers and (surprise, surprise) USCs aren't interested in them. The job listings have been sitting on a website unanswered for the past couple of months.

Why would Americans do those jobs when they can sit on their fat asses watching reality TV and collecting government handouts? Anyway I wouldn't mind getting my papers even if it meant my parents had to go back, and I know they'd leave in a heartbeat. I can support and visit them always.

Although my parents wouldn't be affected by this, I disagree. They sacrificed for us and now we are turning our heads on them. Family comes first.

Our parents made the choice to move to the U.S, while we were forced to live here..

You are giving up on your family for a personal gain. Anyone who wants to "sacrifice" their parents for legalization should be ashamed of themselves. They are the reason you exist.

I agree with you..they were the ones who sacrificed a lot by bringing me here so i could have a better life. Both my parents said they were willing to leave the moment they give me a chance to stay here in the US
