Will Dream Act pass in 2011?

I see some people saying congress will not pass any legislation law this year because the session is over.

OR

I see some people saying it will pass along with E-Verify.

And ETC.

I have no idea how the bill make it to house of Rep. and Senate.
I learned in high school, but forgot.

When will the bill would go on the table for actual vote?

What is your expectation?

Just want to live FREELY!!!!

Both sides of each house of congress are so gridlocked. And with one party being fully against us, I doubt it will pass. We will most likely have a shot next year when elections happen. Republicans know they can't keep on alienating the latino vote. Hopefully Dems know what they're doing.

I asked my political science teacher about this and he said that dream act is likely to pass this year
or next year including with CIR he is 100% sure he even predicted that last dream act would fail

I am certain it will pass in a decade or so.

Sorry but it seems like your Poli Sci teacher like to say anything with no base. DA's not going anywhere until we Democrat majority in Senate and House. That means, if Democrats don't make majority in '12, you have to wait 2 more years. If Dem don't make majority even then, you have to wait 2 more years and so on..

I wouldn't gamble 2 years of my life like that everytime.. if you have a decent home country to go back to, I suggest you go now..

The next floor vote on DA will be in 2013. Mark my words. Whether it passes or not is another thing. Really will depend on how many Democrats are in the Senate and in the House at that time. This country has no appetite for CIR at the moment. Maybe about 5 years later..they might consider it but DA definitely has a chance in 2013. Unfortunately I definitely will not be here for that but I really hope it does pass when they vote on it. The benefits of DA are legitimate and outweigh every argument against it.

Theres going to be a dream act vote this year 2011 , whether it passés or not who knows , but if the GOP want it to pass theyll add E-verify , if it doesn't pass again it will paint the GOP as obstructionist even more , fuck it just sit back and see what happens , in the mean time live your life like whatever, don't let a whole bunch of old biter men hold you down
