when will i be able to apply for AB 130 and AB 131

I will be graduating this year from HS, some of the counselors where talking about financial aid and cal grants. I'm planning to attend a CC then transfer. I know AB 540 in Cal can he'lp me but I need more help. Any suggestions?

If passed, I believe AB 131 would take effect June 2012 but you can check by doing a google search for the text of the bill.

Did Brown already sign the bill?

Thats a little shady, it has been sitting on Brown's desk for about a month...

I read somewhere that he has till Oct. 8 to sign it.

If Brown signs Ab 131 it would be effective as of Jan 2013. Since it takes two or so years to transfer from cc to a uni, you should be fine.
