So McGraw-Hill forces millions of students to pay hundreds of dollars to do their online homeworks right?

And of course, all students log onto McGraw-Hill website to do their homework that is due midnight today.

And McGraw-Hill's server shuts down.

And you know how anal professors don't except any excuses for not submitting homework right?

Well, then just tell your middle school teachers that the site was down.

I am assuming you are talking about the recent trend shown by many college professors in requiring students to pay this extra fees to gain online access to submit the homework through McGraw Hill, the publisher of the text.

unfortunately, it is not a new problem and a lot of college professors are switching to this a method of decreasing their work load, and the publishers are consistently raising the cost for such a service while not improving the service itself or providing anything that may actually be considered substantial or worth the money.

I have gone through those annoyances in the past.

When the site went down, I would take a print screen of the page showing that the server was down, and send it to the professor's e-mail before the deadline.
