moving to NYC

hey anyone live in NYC im moving there and would like to meet up with some people.

Which part and how do you plan to manage if you don't mind me asking? I've looked into NY but the cost of living scared me almost as much as the ghettos lol

Which part? I'm in the Bronx, though I spend most of the day in Manhattan.

east village, if i can afford it or anywhere below 90th in manhattan

are you working in the city? do you like burning your cash? are you expecting a night life that will require you to bring women (or men?) within walking distance between the bar and the bed?

If only yes to all, then I would consider moving into the city.
