I really want to become a high school teacher

Hey guys I have wanted to be a teacher since i was little and I heard that i can not become one because of something about fingerprints and etc! It would really suck to have to major in something else since I would love to teach... but whatever ugh! So does anyone know anything about this being true or false? I live in California by the way

are you saying that you want to become high school teacher while undocumented? if that's the case, finger print is the least of your worries.

Lol no... but i'm want to major in that i'm really good in science and other subjects but what I've wanted to do is teach maybe even teach in a college Haha! I'm in high school still. Sorry if i confused you or anything.

With no papers it's quite impossible to even consider teaching in a public high school. That's one of the many reasons we are all waiting for this DREAM Act to pass

If you want to teach your best bet is to teach english abroad

If you want to teach in college just focus on getting an advanced degree. To even be a candidate at the University level, you will need a Ph.d. You can get away with a masters if you want to teach at community college. This might be a good idea since it will give you more time in terms of DA passing while doing something quite productive.
