So i just moved from CA to UT just for the heck of it. I'm getting set up with a restaurant job. I might even get to do some production assistant gigs or be a freelancer.

Any tips or comments about living in Salt Lake City?

Yeah I went back to my home country. Salt Lake City sucked! Seriously! Don't move there. I think they even repealed that immigration reform law. Besides, it's such a stupid place to live. I'm doing wayyyy better back home working in media in a tourist city... Great perks and advancement, but the pay isn't much... yet. Plus, the taxes are low in developing countries and you'd have a leg up if you speak fluent English.

If your home country isn't that bad and you speak the language fairly well, I highly suggest you go back. I thought I was going to die of depression moving back but I realized I was more depressed in America and I'm actually happy here.

I am really happy for you. I definitely get the same feeling you did...
